Remarkable pictures have captured the moment a crane picked up the bridge at Twickenham station in one piece for its removal.
The emergency access bridge was removed as part of the massive redevelopment and Stuart Bennett captured the delicate manoeuvre on camera on September 17
The current station is in the process of being demolished to make way for a modern station on a new public plaza, with the station introducing lifts to platforms, a significantly larger ticket office and additional cycle parking spaces.
New shops will be built around the plaza, as well as station car parking and a new taxi pick-up and drop-off facility.
The number of secure bicycle spaces will be increased to 250.
