Residents in Richmond are being invited to “waste less” next week as part of a national campaign at reducing environmental impact.
The average family wastes over £700 a year, throwing away food that could otherwise be eaten.
Keep Britain Tidy is encouraging everyone to sign up to the ‘Waste Less, Live More Challenge’ between September 14 and 24.
According to KBT: “By completing the challenge you will be on your way to reducing your food waste and saving up to £60 per month.”
