I read - with dismay - the attitude of the person who objected to the closure of the post office in Batttesea Park Road and the reasons cited.

Surely the arguments put forward can be attributed to any of the four threatened. The one by the bus stop near Battersea High Street is as heavily frequented as the one in BPR and the two others.
Surely a case of anyone can be inconvenienced except me by the writer.
People who are less mobile and have transport can park within a very short walk of the post office by Battersea High Street - there is a bus stop 'right on the doorstep' and it serves a wider geographic area.
There are as many - if not more - elderly people, less able bodied people and people without transport in the Battersea High Street/Falcon Road area who cannot get to the main post office in Lavender Hill - nor can they stand for the length of time it takes for the queue to whittle down.
