Boris wants to be 'a very green mayor'

Boris Johnson wants to be the 'greenest' mayor possible and encourage people to be more environmentally friendly.

If Boris really wants to be green and environmentally friendly (and I don't disbelieve him), then he has my vote - just as Ken had when he first stood for office as an independent candidate who wanted to look after our urban parks, including Crystal Palace Park, near where he grew up as a lad in Gypsy Hill, not far from Tessa Jowell's origins in Kingswood.

Ken has lost my vote over the years, because he has neglected his green principles. Moreover, his support for luxury housing, as well as other commercial/transport development on Crystal Palace Park, is in direct contradiction to his green publicity/policy/ideology in general.

You only have to look elsewhere to see how reckless he can be with green spaces, for example Brockwell Park, where his TFL proposals beggar belief. Yes, Boris, go for it and stick to your beliefs!
