Wham! fans could be in for a treat, as George Michael’s 80s pop group are given 6/1 odds to follow the current trend and reform next year.

X Factor finalists Same Difference are 8/1 to become presenters on kids’ TV show Blue Peter. Speaking of X Factor, Victoria Beckham has been tipped at 10/1 to become the show’s newest judge next year.

Drivers should be keeping their fingers crossed next year, as the scrapping of London’s congestion charge seems like an outside chance at 33/1.

Some more risky bets for next year include conclusive proof of the Loch Ness monster’s existence at 500/1, and Prince William to appear in an advert for hair-loss shampoo Regain, listed at 1000/1.

Around June, there could be a scandal at Buckingham Palace, which will cause embarrassment to one of the royal family’s younger members - possibly Harry or Edward.

Fabio Capello will cause upset in the ranks of England’s footballers, according to Keith. He believes that a player will leave the England team “on a matter of principle”.

Simon Cowell will show Britain a different side to his personality, hosting a new show celebrating diversity in music. Keith feels that the show will focus on music from Britain’s different ethnic groups.

On a more serious note, Keith has predicted serious political upheaval in China. He believes that there will be a movement against the Chinese government, but that those in power will be too strong to dislodge.

Richard Branson will be in the news, making a move to buy more companies in the plane or train industries. According to Keith, this might provoke action from regulatory bodies, who will claim that he is trying to build an unfair monopoly.

Psychic Sasha, from Carshalton, made her predictions for 2008, and warned of an unsettled period ahead.

2008 is the year of the rat, with the element for this year being wood. Therefore, according to Sasha, the rat will float on the wood this year, making it a good year to start up new businesses. However, businesses are urged to be cautious about how much they spend on their ventures and to choose their partners wisely because the rat is also a sign for deception.

New technological innovations are expected to come to the fore this year and wars, should they be fought, will be carried out by machines rather than soldiers.

Scotland will go for independence in 2008.

In July, Sasha predicts a shake up in the benefits system with families suffering from slashed hand outs. There will also be urban unrest at the start of the summer with riots and racial violence in and around London.

The riots theme continues in August, with Sasha predicting prison riots across the country.

It is believed September will be a time for secrets to be lost with scandals emerging out of high powered places and secrets of MI5 being leaked.

October sees more corruption and scandals - this time in local government - while on the housing market, the long predicted price crash will materialise, says Sasha.

In November, Sasha predicts share prices will fall and interest rates will rise while December again will see strikes hit the country hard. Schools and the postal service will be affected, with parents also expected to sue universities for poor services.

And if you are a villain, crook or gangster, then watch out in December because a wave of arrests is expected to put a number of high profile criminals behind bars for Christmas 2008.
