  • Sarah Thiele found her lost engagement ring, which was  buried in the snow for four days, after a volunteer from the local community searched for it with a metal detector.
  • Michael Jordan, a football coach, has been cleared of murdering Matthew Demko (pictured), a former public schoolboy who became embroiled in dealing drugs.
  • Murdered boxer John ‘King’ Abbey (left) was barely 24 hours away from his third fight, which would have earned him his UK citizenship, before he was stabbed to death at a Croydon bus stop.
