Thrill seekers have enjoyed their first ride on Alton Towers’ new attraction, Wicker Man.
Passengers are taken around a labyrinth of twisted track before hurtling towards a six-storey high flaming effigy.
Wicker Man is the UK’s first new wooden coaster built in more 20 years, which Alton Towers said will “reconnect riders with the primal essence of roller coasters”.
