A former Wimbledon schoolboy is enjoying his first set of wheels, thanks to the generosity of his friends and teachers.
Connor Osborne used to be a pupil at West Wimbledon Primary School in Bodnant Gardens, but in June he suddenly moved to Scotland for family reasons.
However, his former teachers and classmates clubbed together to buy their friend a going away gift - and raised £150, enough cash to buy Connor his first bike.
The 10-year-old, who now lives in Linlithgow with his aunt and uncle, has named it Wesley - after the mascot of his old school. His aunt Abigail Osborne said: “He loves it, and used it to learn to ride over the summer.”
