Merton school shortage focus of proposed debate

The Wimbledon Civic Forum is holding an education forum to raise concerns about the shortage of quality state secondary schools in Merton.
A question and answer session will follow speeches from Wimbledon MP Stephen Hammond and Merton council’s cabinet member for education, Peter Walker.
The event, at Mansel Road Community Centre London on September 9, starts at 7pm.
