Tumbling tots enjoyed a picnic in the park last weekend when a gymnastics club celebrated its 20th birthday.

TJs Gymnastics Club in Wimbledon, which runs 23 classes a week, has more than 400 members aged one to 17 - but focuses on sessions for pre-school children.

Members and their families gathered at Garfield Park on Saturday for a special party to celebrate the milestone.

Founder Gill Humby said the success of the Kohat Road club was down to the friendliness of its members and teachers.

“Everyone knows everyone - I’ve taught children who grew up through the club and are now off to university.”
