Budget home and garden retailer Wilko is set to make a move to New Malden.
The chain, which has over 390 stores in the UK, has signed a lease on a retail space in New Malden high street, and is expected to open next month.

Wilko retail director, Anthony Houghton said: “New Malden High Street has a strong retail offering but we’ve spotted a gap in the market for our range of great quality products at everyday low prices from Wilko.
“The High Street attracts a diverse range of shoppers, including new homeowners and young families, and I’m confident we’ll reflect this with our product range and store layout.
“After a hugely successful 2016 for the brand, we have an exciting expansion programme in place which will see us open more stores across the whole of the UK in 2017.”
The move is set to create more than 60 jobs at the 9,000 sq ft store.
