A man has pleaded not guilty to stealing almost £2,000 worth of equipment from Mitcham Golf Club.
Brendan Paul Sullivan, 53, of Elmfield Avenue, Mitcham, is accused of stealing 10 golf clubs, a pair of golf shoes and £160 in cash from members of the golf club in Carshalton Road.
The value of the items, which are alleged to have been stolen between January 1, 2016 and March 26, 2016, add up to a total of £1,895.
Mr Sullivan pleaded not guilty to all six counts of theft against him at Kingston Crown Court on Tuesday, September 27.
He had previously pleaded not guilty to the charges at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 31.

A trial is scheduled to begin at Kingston Crown Court on January 23, 2017.
