A Wimbledon entrepreneur and mum has said she is “heartbroken” after a laptop containing thousands of photographs of her children was amongst the items stolen in an office burglary last month.

Sandra Nardi, a businesswoman who goes by the name ‘Lady Wimbledon’, uses the Wimbletech offices in Compton Road, which were raided by two men on August 12.

The burglary, believed to have taken place between 12.47am and 1.19am, resulted in £15,000 worth of electrical equipment being stolen from the small businesses and start-ups which use the offices.

CCTV footage shows two men walking around the premises, but there are yet to be any arrests.

Ms Nardi, who had a large screen Apple Mac and a laptop stolen, said: “Everything for my business was backed up, so that’s safe. But under my desk was an old laptop with thousands of pictures of my kids on it. I have three children under the age of seven, and there were loads of pictures from when they were younger.

“It’s very upsetting. The laptop itself is probably not worth anything. I kept meaning to back it up but I just never got round to it and now all those pictures are gone.

“It feels like a personal attack. It’s heart breaking. Even if those guys are caught and the laptops are found, it’s likely they have been wiped. I just don’t want to think that all those pictures of my children are gone forever.”

The first man is described as slim, black, wearing dark-rimmed glasses, dark clothing, blue gloves and a camouflage baseball cap. He was also wearing dark coloured trainers with a white sole.

He was wearing a dark coloured jacket and blue/stonewashed jeans with black gloves, and had a purple baseball cap with a light blue peak and a white motif on the front. He also had a grey scarf covering his mouth and wore blue and brown trainers with a white sole.
