Police investigating the murder of a man have appealed for information about the victim's missing van, which is believed to have been stolen and then abandoned in Mitcham.
David Bond, 50, was found dead in his home in Osmonde Close, Worthing, on Tuesday, August 9. His van had been taken from outside his house.
Alan Knight, 51, also of Osmonde Close, Worthing, has been charged with murder. Police understand Mr Bond's van may have abandoned in the Mitcham area.
Police have been searching for the van but have not yet been able to locate it, and are appealing to the public for information.
The vehicle is described as a red Ford Fiesta-derived van, with registration number HT02 HMA.
Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of the van is asked to contact Sussex Police by calling 101 and quoting 'Operation Waterhouse', or by emailing 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
