Commuters may have struggled to get home yesterday evening after a car mounted a bollard outside south Wimbledon tube station.

A spokesman for Merton police said officers on patrol discovered the stuck car at 5.20pm yesterday evening.
An ambulance was not needed, but police called the London Fire Brigade as a precuation due to leaking fluid from the damaged vehicle.

Roads were temporarily closed while the car was removed.
