Police have identified three suspects following a serious assault with a chemical spray which took place at a busy shopping centre in Colliers Wood.
An “incapacitant spray” was used in the assault outside the Boots store in the Tandem Centre at 10am on Monday, April 25.
Police are awaiting forensic tests to establish whether it was pepper spray or something similar.
A man and a woman were arrested after the attack.
A man in his thirties was under police guard in hospital, and was discharged from hospital on Wednesday, April 27. He was interviewed and then bailed until Monday, June 13.
A 36-year-old woman was released on bail until the same date.
A third suspect, a 37-year-old man, has since been identified as wanted. Police said arrangements are in place for him to hand himself in to police.
It is not known whether the victim of the attack was a member of staff at the Boots store.
Police are still appealing for witnesses to the assault. Anyone who saw what happened is asked to call the police on 101 quoting reference 1404993/16.
