A cyclist has been taken to hospital after being hit by a van in Wimbledon Hill Road this morning.
A witness, James Lamb, said the van had reversed off a driveway in Wimbledon Hill Road as the cyclist was coming down the road at speed.

The road was closed in both directions between 11.15am and 12pm, with heavy traffic still being experienced in the area and queues reported back to Tibbet's Corner into Putney.
Merton Police confirmed there was a collision between a van and a cyclist, and said the cyclist had been taken to hospital as a precaution.
