A man is due to appear in court after being arrested with a knife outside the Centre Court Shopping Centre in Wimbledon.
The 42-year-old was said to have been found by the bins outside the shopping centre on Wimbledon Broadway with the five inch blade.

He was arrested at 5pm on Sunday, February 7, and charged with possession of a knife in a public place.
He is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, February 10.
The arrest was made at the start week long initiative across London to tackle knife, dubbed Operation Sceptre.

Last time Operation Sceptre ran, between October 23 and 30, just two knives were collected by Merton Police.
