Police were out searching for the missing school girl
A missing schoolgirl who sparked a police hunt with a helicopter this afternoon has been found safe.
Police were appealing for help after Georgia Davison went missing this afternoon.
She was last seen outside St John Fisher Primary School in west Wimbledon, close to Raynes Park at 3.20pm this afternoon.
Just after 7.30pm this evening, police tweeted to say she had been found safe and well.
The appeal was shared hundreds of times on the Wimbledon Guardian Facebook page.
