A 36-year-old man has appeared in court charged with possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Alan Deleslie, whose registered address is on the High Path Estate in south Wimbledon, allegedly had a handgun with a twelve-inch barrel in Swinburne Road in Putney on Saturday, August 8.
He was charged with three firearms offences: possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life; possessing a handgun with intent to cause another to believe unlawful violence would be used against them; and possession of a handgun.
It is not clear if the offences relate to different firearms.
Swinburne Road is a residential road close to the University of Roehampton.
Mr Deleslie, of Mychelle House in Pincott Road, was remanded in custody after appearing at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Thursday, August 20.
He is due to enter a plea at Kingston Crown Court on Thursday, September 3.
