The six storey re-development of a library can now go ahead after permission was granted by the council.
Volunteers and staff at Donald Hope Library in Colliers Wood have welcomed plans for 60 apartments and a brand new three storey library on the lower floors.

Objections had been raised from neighbours over the height of the building and the impact of the work on the High Street.
But planning permission was granted on Thursday by Merton Council.
