A man wanted by police for the brutal beating of a father-of-four in Wimbledon appeared in court yesterday.

Police launched an international man-hunt for Oskar Pawlowicz after Paul Kohler was attacked in his own home in Kings Road, Wimbledon in August.

Pawlowicz, who gave his address as Pitcairn Road, Mitcham, appeared before magistrates in Wimbledon yesterday.

The 29-year-old has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and aggravated burglary of Kings Road, Wimbledon.

As part of the charge it is alleged Pawlowicz stole laptops to an unknown value and had with him some duct tape.

Pawlowicz was remanded in custody until a hearing at Kingston Crown Court later this month.

Two other men appeared in court on August 27 charged with aggravated burglary and grievous bodily harm in relation to the same incident.

Pawel Honc, 23, of no fixed address, and Mariusz Tomaszewski, 32, of Crusoe Road, Mitcham, appeared before a judge via video link from Wandsworth prison at Kingston Crown Court.
