Fears over safety after the violent burglary which left father-of-four Paul Kohler with life-changing injuries will be discussed at a meeting for worried residents.
Neighbours of Kings Road in Wimbledon will be invited to the meeting, alongside Mr Kohler, Merton councillors, the Wimbledon Guardian, MP Stephen Hammond and police representatives.
It will take place on Friday, September 19 at the Holy Trinity Church Hall in The Broadway from 7.15pm.
Trinity ward councillors have organised the meeting to address concerns following the attack on Mr Kohler in his own home earlier this month.
Two men have been charged with aggravated burglary and grievous bodily harm after the incident.
Pawel Honc, 23, of no fixed address, and Mariusz Tomaszewski, 32, of Crusoe Road, Mitcham, were due to appear at Kingston Crown Court on Wednesday, August 27.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on Garratt Lane in Wandsworth on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
The investigation continues.
Detectives have released an image of Polish man Oskar Pawlowichz, 29, who is still wanted in connection with the attack.
