A Wimbledon school has announced improved GCSE results today.
Boys at Rutlish School in Wimbledon achieved 70 per cent A* to C grades this year.
Ten star pupils achieved straight A* or A grades.
David Grant, deputy head, said: "We are absolutely delighted. Our grades are five per cent higher than last year."
Some schools have reported a fall in English Language grades, but Mr Grant said changes to exams were not reflected in Rutlish School results.
The school has yet to deliver a more detailed break-down of results.
