Fans of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s phenomenally successful The Phantom of the Opera are in for a treat when critically-acclaimed concert Three Phantoms comes to Wimbledon, writes Khaleda Rahman.

Earl Carpenter, Matthew Cammelle and Stephen John Davis have all played the masked musician – and will host and perform in Wimbledon for two nights only.

They will perform songs from various adaptations of the story that inspired Webber to write his score and viewers can expect unique insights and anecdotes into the trio’s time playing the role of the Phantom.

No Phantom is complete without his Christine – and Three Phantoms will be joined by musical and opera star Rebecca Caine.

The evening will also feature songs from other musicals, including Wicked, West Side Story, Spamalot and Les Miserables.

Carpenter is the current Phantom in the show’s 25th anniversary tour.

He says: “This concert has become an incredible overnight success.

“Audiences have been so supportive, but it is so much fun for us and I think that that is what people enjoy the most.

“The camaraderie we all have on stage has turned this event into something very entertaining.”

The cast of Three Phantoms also includes Annette Yeo, Mandy Watsham Dunstall and Alistair Barron, who have all performed in The Phantom of the Opera.
