9:17am Wednesday 22nd February 2012 in Wandsworth By Claire Victoria Holden
The way the Wandsworth gyratory (Armoury Way/Old York Road) roundabout operates is to be reviewed in a bid to make it safer for cyclists and other road users.
The reviews will be based on collision data and the number of cyclists using the junction, as well as customer feedback.
The alterations come as part of a city-wide review of junctions on the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN) and of the Barclays Cycle Superhighway.
The majority of the changes on the TLRN have already been planned and designed, but construction will not begin until after the Olympic Games have ended.
