Two women have been brutally attacked, one suffering a broken jaw and the other stab-wounds to her face.
The women, both in their twenties, were found by paramedics on July 22 with the serious but non life threatening injuries in Wandle Road.
A man and a woman have been charged in connection with the assault.
Mark Williams, 38, Wiltshire Road, Battersea, was charged with grievous bodily harm and wounding with intent and Larissa Yarham, 26, Cranmer Road, Croydon, was also charged with grievous bodily harm and wounding with intent.
Both appeared at Croydon Magistrates Court on 24 July and have been remanded in custody until 24 September, when they will appear at Croydon Crown Court.
Police were called to reports of a fight in Wandle Road, Croydon at 9.40pm on Thursday, 22 July.
The London Ambulance Service attended and the two women were taken to separate south London hospitals for treatment.
