A child prostitute has been rescued from a brothel near Wandsworth Common.
Police raided a flat in the area between Trinity Road and Earlsfield Road on October 10 after a complaint from a neighbour who noticed people coming and going.
They discovered three European women working as prostitutes including a 16-year-old Estonian girl.
The exact location of the flat cannot be disclosed to protect the victims.
Wandsworth Common safer neighbourhood team (SNT) raided the property with the Metropolitan Police Service as part of Operation Pentameter, a nationwide campaign to tackle human trafficking for sexual exploitation.
One individual has been arrested for controlling a child prostitute, controlling prostitution for gain and possession of CS gas.
The brothel was closed and the rescued child is now back with her family in Estonia.
Sergeant Ben Bond of Wandsworth SNT said: "This is an excellent example of the MPS's commitment to solving problems affecting communities both locally and internationally through a multi-agency approach."
