A woman was 'touched inappropriately' on the Northern Line by a man who then tried to lift up her skirt.

The British Transport Police (BTP) said the man touched the victim twice on thigh before he attempted to lift her skirt when she was travelling between Balham and South Wimbledon.

The victim left the train at South Wimbledon, and the man continued his journey to Morden.

The BTP have released a picture of a man they are looking for in connection with the incident, which happened at around 7.50pm on Monday, December 19.

Anyone who recognises the man, or has more information, should contact the BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or texting 61016, quoting reference 194 on 16 February.
