Buyers in Battersea will be able to pick up innovative art from rising stars and household names from £100 later this month.

The Affordable Art Fair, which combines work from the best recent graduates and some bigger stars from around the world, is coming to Battersea Evolution from October 20 to 23 offering works all priced between £100 and £5,000.

The fair showcases a mix of contemporary paintings, prints, sculptures and photographs. Among the 1,000 artists on sale are the co-creator of the iconic Beatles Sgt Pepper album cover Jann Haworth, street artist Ben Eine, who counts Barack Obama as an owner of his work, and Bex Isley, whose work has been snapped up by Miley Cyrus.

Alongside the exhibited work for sale, a workshop line-up includes a gastronomy-inspired drawing session and talks about the representation of wine in art with an accompanying wine tasting.

The fair’s director Luci Noel said: “The creative industry knows no borders – and it’s clear from the mix of artists and galleries we’ve got coming up at this year’s fair that London continues to lead the way as a global cultural hub.

“We’re proud to bring this buzzing community of artists together and offer our visitors more than just a great day out – and we can’t wait to welcome culture vultures through our doors when we open this October.”
