A video showing a group of about nine men chasing two men across a road in Roehampton has been released as detectives continue to investigate a stabbing and robbery.

A young man was stabbed in the leg when he was attacked near the Co-Operative store at the junction between Danebury Avenue and Roehampton Lane on Sunday, July 3. 

The victim, who was with his brother at the time, had his laptop, a MacBook, stolen.

In the CCTV footage, a group of around nine individuals is shown attacking two men in the middle of the junction between Roehampton Lane and Danbury Avenue, stealing a bag.

The assailants are shown chasing the victim, who was with his brother, past the Co-Operative supermarket. 

He was stabbed in the leg a short time after on Laverstoke Gardens.

The assailants are thought to have fled down Holybourne Avenue.
