Footage showing two teenagers taunting a shopkeeper and threatening him with a broomstick has been released by police in Wandsworth.
Metropolitan Police released CCTV footage of two teenagers appearing to taunt the A J corner shop owner into handing over cash just before 9.24am, on Saturday, April 23.
The pair can be seen taunting and threatening the shopkeeper with a broomstick near the entrance of the store in Gagarin House, Winstanley Estate.
They entered the shop and demanded cash from the till and when the shopkeeper refused the pair made threats and grabbed a number of soft drinks and confectionary.
The two then left the store.
In the footage the teen holding the broomstick can be seen wearing a fur lined coat, black trousers and black shoes. He was described by police as black.
The second teen, also described as black, wore a dark hooded jacket with a white sports badge on the right elbow.
He also wore a grey hood under the coat and dark tracksuit bottoms and white trainers. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black Nike sports bag with the logo written in white across the front.
