Flash flooding and torrential rain is causing traffic and travel delays across Wandsworth this morning.
A Met Office yellow warning of rain was issued and there are reports of 40mm of rainfall in some areas.

The Shaftesbury estate near Wickersley Road has also been badly affected by the rain.

Balham station was closed this morning owing to the sever wet weather, leaving commuters to walk down to Tooting Bec to catch the Northern Line.

Commuters also reported being turned away from Tooting Broadway station but this reopened at 9.30am.
On the district line, there has been no service between Wimbledon and Parson's Green.

The railway line in Clapham Junction station has been flooded, and commuters and those travelling, are advised to check their journey before setting off.
