Wandsworth Police reported no “high victim impact” crimes in Balham yesterday.
The Metropolitan Police is focusing on seven “priority” offences and are tasked with reducing these crimes by 20 per cent over the next five years.
These crimes are known as the MOPAC 7 and consist of burglary, criminal damage, robbery, theft from a person, theft from motor vehicle, theft of a motor vehicle and violence with injury.
Battersea Sergeant Nathan Shickle tweeted that the force were on target.
He tweeted: “No burglaries in Balham yesterday. In fact no "@MOPACLdn 7" offences at all.”
On Wednesday there were six burglaries in the area.
