Wandsworth police officers who helped develop a mobile phone app that allows members of the public to upload evidence of crimes have been recognised with an award.
Detective constable Brian Kelleher and PCs Andreas Varotsis and Laura Manuel worked with Rory Geoghegan, from Lambeth police, and Andy Shuker, from the Hillingdon force, to develop the prototype app.
It means officers and members of the public could have a way of uploading photos and videos of crimes for police to analyse.
