Putney Bridge has been re-opened after police incident that saw it closed to all traffic.
Wandsworth MPS tweeted the news at about 5.30pm.
Officers had been talking to a man seen standing over the edge of the bridge.
Just heard over the radio that Putney Bridge is re-opening. Everyone appears safe.

During the incident, a member at the nearby Thai Square restaurant said she could see man sitting over the ledge of the bridge, with the police boat beneath him
Drivers were asked urged to consider other routes and traffic was expected to take some time to clear.
