St John's Hill is closed after a after a lorry crashed into a large scaffolding structure and shifted it into the road.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said they were called to St John’s Hill, Battersea, just before 4pm after a lorry crashed into the scaffolding outside a Sainsbury’s Local.
He confirmed no one was injured in the crash and emergency services were dealing with getting the runaway scaffolding back into position.
Some bus routes are diverted.
