A group of unemployed young people have experienced a full working day on one of Wandsworth’s largest construction sites.
On Wednesday, February 11, developer St George opened its Battersea Reach development to nine trainees from the Kotuku Environment Labour Project – which helps give young unemployed Londoner's a start in long-term employment.
The group, aged between 18 and 30, are training for jobs in the construction industry.
Battersea Reach is a riverside development which will comprise of more than 1,300 homes, shops, offices and restaurants.
