A pensioner is fighting for his life after he was hit by a van in Tooting.
Police said the 74-year-old man was hit by the van at about 6.30pm, on Friday 13, in Gilbey Road.
London Ambulance Service attended the scene and took the man to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Police were not called to the scene but were informed of the incident in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Officers from the Met's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for the driver, who stopped at the scene, to contact them.
Next of kin have been informed and enquiries continue.
