A Southfields Post Office was robbed by two men who fled on a scooter.

The men walked into the Post Office, in Inner Park Road, and demanded money from the cashier.

The worker described one of the robbers ruffling in his pocket – as if he had a gun. However, police say no guns were seen.

The robbery took place just after 5pm on Thursday, December 11. The men fled the scene on a scooter with a quantity of cash.

No arrests have been made and enquires continue. The Met’s Flying Squad, which investigates commercial armed robberies, is investigating the incident.
