A Battersea Power Station construction worker has won an award for apprentice of the year.
Lee Marshall, 25, has been an apprentice form worker on the first phase of building work, Circus West, where residents are due to move into in 2016.
Mr Marshall’s father worked on the site more than 30 years ago so there has been a strong family interest in the development through the years.
He was named apprentice of the year at the at the Construction Federation awards 2014, on October 3, in east London.
The awards celebrate excellence in the concrete industry.
