Three Clapham men are starring in a BBC documentary series centred around the kitchen.

Xanthi Toupoyannis, Matthew Wells and David Murray are taking part in The Kitchen which follows eight different households by putting cameras in their kitchens.

The men are best friends who work in digital marketing and advertising sales.

Mr Toupoyannis and Mr Wells are self-confessed fitness fanatics who always opt for low-calorie, low fat produce, but when their backs are turned Mr Murray is more likely to venture into the fast food aisles for his beloved fried chicken fix.

Despite a ban on sweet treats in the house, they are all likely to cheat at the weekends when late night drunken cooking takes place.

The three-part series, which started on Monday, October 6, aims to give a snapshot into how people live and talk in Britain at meal time.
