A bumper weekend of live music will see an eclectic range of genres coming together for two invigorating sessions.

The Half Moon, Putney, hosts both an English band with Medway Delta roots and a French Ye-Ye group for a Friday night set to get everyone on to the dancefloor.

The Len Price 3 are an energy-filled pop band who play with an intensity and speed combined with quick witted lyrics that are often a revelation to those who are fortunate enough to witness a performance.

Les Kitschenettes play tunes of French Freakbeat and the 60s that will have you itching to get you on your feet and dancing away, with the help of an organ.

But the fun does not stop there, as two nights later Home Service will take to the stage.

Originally formed in 1981, mostly from members of the Albion Band, Home Service has reformed and promises to be better than ever.

Songs that were written during Thatcherite Britain such as Walk my Way, Alright Jack and Sorrow were all inspired by the social inequalities of the time, but sounds just as relevant now.

Home Service also features Graeme Taylor, musical director of the West End production War Horse.
