Police are trying to find two men who nearly killed a man by stabbing him in the leg.
The 40-year-old victim was walking southbound along Garratt Lane, near the Big Yellow Self Storage, at about 11.15am on Friday, February 7, when three men walked towards him.
Detective Constable Chris Taylor from Wandsworth CID said: "The victim's injuries were life-threatening and had it not been for an armed forces medic who was walking past at the time it is very likely he would have lost his life.
"We have some CCTV images of the suspects but need the public's help to assist us identifying those responsible."
Police are looking for the two men in these CCTV images. The first man was white, aged 16 to 20, and was wearing a red jacket with white markings on the elbows.
The second man was black, aged 16 to 20, and was wearing a bomber jacket with a logo on the back.
If you have any information please contact Det Con Chris Taylor on 020 3276 2582 or if you wish to remain anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
