A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found stabbed to death in Earlsfield on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old was arrested in the early hours of this morning and is currently in custody at a south London police station.
The arrest comes after a 25-year-old man was found with serious stab injuries in St John’s Drive at about 8:50pm on Wednesday.
The man, who police say they know the identity of, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-morterm examination, which took place at St George’s Hospital yesterday, gave a cause of death as stab wounds to the leg and chest.
The man’s next of kin have been informed.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s homicide and major crime command are investigating and an incident room has now opened.
