Police have launched a murder investigation after a young man was stabbed to death.

The 25-year-old, who is yet to be formally identified, was found with serious stab wounds in St John's Drive, Wandsworth, shortly before 9pm.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his next of kin were informed.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.

No arrests have been made.

Sadiq Khan MP said: “As someone who grew up on the Henry Prince Estate, I know how close knit residents in the community are, and I join them in feeling incredibly shocked and saddened by this news. My thoughts are with the victim’s family at this difficult time.
