Find a vintage look while listening to the latest hits at a charity event in Battersea.
The Traid charity clothes shop is opening its doors for an evening with an in-house DJ.
The charity will be urging customers to sign up to their secondhand pledge through which people commit to ensuring a percentage of their wardrobe is from sustainable sources like charity shops and swapping.
Shoppers will also be able to take part in up-cycling workshops and get styling advice.
Around 1 million tonnes of clothing is sent to the landfill every year. Traid aims to show fashion-followers that many of these can be worn and loved again.
Traid late-night opening; 28 John’s Road, Battersea; free; August 7; 6.30-9pm
