Do you know this man? Rugby bosses are trying to find this unlucky rugby fan who was hit on the head with a ball at the Aviva Premiership Harlequins v Saracens game at Twickenham Stoop.

The man was heading back to his seat after buying two beers, but was hit on the head by a clearance from Harlequins’ fly-half Nick Evans, causing him to fall to his knees and spill his drinks.

Nick Evans tweeted: “If anyone knows the old boy I hit in the head and dropped his beers a few weeks back, get him to find me and I will buy a round...”.

Aviva bosses want to find the man so they can reimburse him for his spilt drinks.

Luke Zac at Aviva said: “The ball hit him square on the head and he fell to his knees and dropped his beer. We basically want to compensate for the pints being spilt.”

A video on YouTube, which was also shown on Soccer AM, has had more than 240,000 hits and shows the man spill his beers and laugh with other fans after the unfortunate incident.

Aviva spokeswoman Louisa Cheetham said: “We’ve been amazed by the amount of people who have watched the clip online and by his reaction, the fan appears to be a great sport.

“As a result, Aviva would like to recognise the supporter and offer him two tickets to the next home game against London Irish and the chance to present the Man of the Match award at the end of the game.”
