Schoolgirl left unconscious after collision with cyclist
Police are appealing for information after a cyclist collided with a schoolgirl earlier this month.
The incident happened in Kingston Road, Ewell, at the junction with Mavis Avenue on October 1, at 8am.
The 16-year-old, who was on her way to school, was crossing the road when she collided with the 32-year-old male cyclist.
She was left unconscious and requiring resuscitation by the ambulance crew, and both she and the cyclist were taken to Kingston Hospital where she was treated for an injury to her shoulder and he was treated for a cut lip.
Police are trying to trace the cyclist who was discharged from hospital before speaking to police.
Anyone with information should call Phil Underwood at Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference number 6301684512RA.
