A man was taken to hospital after a crash involving a motorcyclist and a van yesterday afternoon.

The ambulance service was called just before 6pm to reports of a collision between a motorcyclist and a van on the Prince of Wales Road in Carshalton.

Staff treated a man with a leg and ankle injury who was taken to St Helier Hospital.

Don't forget to show up at the St. Helier Hospital fun day show of support tomorrow on the green opposite the hospital 12-4. Passing a closed, locked and barred St. Helier Hospital on the way through the traffic to Tooting to join the queues, waits and crush there will be no fun at all.
